I actually wrote a rebinder interface for a number of UDK games and sent the source to the developers but it was in C# and it still needs language tables etc.Īgain, I realise I am asking a lot but if someone could check that these work I will definitely buy this game. NOTE: I have others from EA, such as Mirror Edge (UDK), where the programmers have hard coded invalidations for punctuation key binding and/or mouse button navigation. I have a number of UDK based games where I have edited these bindings with success.Įg Bindings=(Name="W",Command="MoveForward") to Bindings=(Name="RightMouseButton",Command="MoveForward")īindings=(Name="S",Command="MoveBackward") to Bindings=(Name="Slash",Command="MoveBackward")

I simply can not afford to keep adding to the hundreds of dollars I have wasted on games and devices that are of no use to me. I apologize but I should have mentioned I have not bought the game as yet so I can not check this. That lets me know that it's standard UDK BaseInput.ini where as you say, I would have to look for the keyboard and mouse bindings.įrom what I have seen in other posts there is no game interface for rebinding what I want. Thanks for your quick response on this, I appreciate it. When you are done, save the file, then load up the game. My hunch is that, because the game was originally made for a console (I think?), the keybindings in the configuration file are actually taking xbox inputs and converting them to pc inputs. My belief is that if you modfiy the keys that refer to a standard desktop keyboard, the key bindings should change in-game as well (meaning changing w,a,s,d for movement, etc).
